School Of Design Communication

An appropriate balance between academic components and studio-based learning methods ensures a good grasp of theoretical knowledge and provides the opportunity to hone intellectual and creative thought processes. The School of Design Communication hopes to inspire new ways of thinking, doing and learning in design, through design and by design.

The Design Communication programmes evaluate new industry contexts and practices both within and outside of design. Our pedagogical approaches and content reflect issues of culture, history and identity to design. The curriculum is structured to provide a range of analytical, reflective and communicative skills, equipping graduates to meet emergent professional and industry needs.

The wide range of knowledge and experience you acquire will enable you to engage in the industry in various capacities, and in an increasing number of corporate and social sectors. You can also push the disciplinary boundaries and design systems, user platforms or services.
